This feature class consists of milepost panels in the state of Nevada road system. The feature class has been developed as an inventory of the geographic location of mileposts panels for the Nevada Department of Transportation’s maintained roads and the roads of other major entities in Nevada. Signs were collected by Mandli using lidar and gps during 2013. Delivered to NDOT on 12/19/13 and converted from lat longs in csv. converted and loaded on 12/19/13. NDOT Location Division GIS section corrected records with bad attribution and added missing signs when necessary. Milepost panels are also located as needed using GPS positions from both a vehicle and location by stationary GPS collection of the milepost. |
